Light & Dwell is seeking an experienced Designer to lead residential projects from concept through installation. This is a remote position supporting projects from coast to coast, working closely with our Creative Director, clients, build teams, and Design Associates.

Responsibilities

\n
• Lead multiple full-service and concept-design projects
\n
• Develop concepts, layouts, selections, elevations, and presentations
\n
• Lead client presentations and project meetings
\n
• Manage schedules, deliverables, budgets, and next steps
\n
• Coordinate with builders, architects, vendors, trades, and procurement
\n
• Direct and review Design Associate work
\n
• Travel to project sites as needed
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 4+ years of residential interior design experience
\n
• Strong design judgment and alignment with the Light & Dwell aesthetic
\n
• Experience leading projects and communicating directly with clients
\n
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
\n
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
\n
• Strong follow-through, collaborative and proactive skillset.
\n
• A confident, personable communicator who builds trust with clients, colleagues, and project partners
\n
• Advanced proficiency in drawing and presentation software AutoCAD and/or Revit with a strong ability to produce detailed build documentation
\n
